State-approved Kindergarten with a certified teacher and low student-teacher ratio- The Letter People Curriculum for Pre K and Kindergarten
- CPR and First Aid trained staff
- Monthly lead teacher meetings held to further the communication between staff and administration while educating staff on current issues
- In-ground pool with certified lifeguards available for the use of children 3 years and up
- Summer Fun School Age Program for children who have completed Kindergarten
- Cafeteria for children ages 18 months and up to dine in with on-site chef
- Positive reinforcement program for children
- Monthly newsletter in each classroom informing families of upcoming events and general information regarding their child's classroom
- Field trips for Pre K and Kindergarten, i.e. museum, pumpkin patch, theater
Annual Thanksgiving Feast for families to come dine with their children and watch their child's class performance- Annual Trike-a-thon for St. Jude's. Children to learn to help others while learning about bike safety. As of 2009, LCSH has raised over $53,000.
- Participation in the NAEYC Week of the Young Child. Children participate by dressing in pajamas, wearing wacky clothes, and having their parents eat breakfast with them.

- Covered toddler playground and covered picnic area for children to eat outside on nice days
- Natalie's Dance Network and Gymtastic are available at extra cost
